In 1972, Mr. Stowell founded Stowell, Geweke & Piskorski, P.C., L.L.O. and has maintained a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating for over three decades. Throughout the years, he has been actively involved in the Nebraska State Bar Association, serving on several Bar Committees such as Estate Planning, Nebraska Banking Attorneys, Law Practice and Management, Agricultural Law, Judicial Redistricting, and Real Estate. Additionally, he has spoken at various seminars covering topics such as Estate Planning, Bankruptcy, Probate and Trusts, Agricultural Law, and Real Estate.

Before earning his law degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Law College, Mr. Stowell obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1965. Afterward, he served as an Infantry officer in different locations across the USA, including the Republic of Vietnam in 1966-1967. His military service concluded as an R.O.T.C. instructor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1971.

Since the establishment of his law practice in Ord, Nebraska in 1972, Mr. Stowell has also been involved in various community and church activities. He has participated in Economic and Community Development, community foundation work, served on the state-wide Nebraska Community Foundation Board, the Hospital Foundation, the Ord Public School Board, and various other church and civic organizations.
